I’ve enjoyed a couple of podcasts lately. I binged Under the Influence last week; I thought this podcast was an intriguing perspective on "influencers" and social media. I enjoy running my blog but have complicated feelings towards social media, and in the blogging world now, the two are intertwined. So I was intrigued to take a look at this topic from all angles. Warning, there is some language, not for little ears!

The second podcast I have been listening to is The Next Big Idea, currently on episode Work: Should You Do Less of It?. Lots of different and interesting content.

I’m halfway through the book Think Again by Adam Grant, and Ive found it interesting so far! This book suggests a set of cognitive skills - rethinking -that challenges readers to reconsider how they approach work, problem-solving, and critical thinking—light-hearted and engaging read.

These pants are ultimate comfort and great for all seasons.

Andrew and I have been watching Mare of Easttown. If you like Kate Winslet and a murder mystery, this is the show for you.

A playlist of songs on repeat lately.

This bathing suit has been my go-to, just enough coverage and comfortable enough for keeping up with the little ones.

In a Groove, my go-to response for when someone asks “how's life?” “We are getting in a groove.” I looked up the term’s true meaning, “to perform well or excellent.” I laughed. Sure - do I feel like I’m performing daily - playing the part of many different roles; counselor, cook, teacher, maid, and comforter? Do I perform well, or dare I say excellent? HA, the concept of “excellence” is a foreign reality to me in this messy phase of motherhood. But I’m catching onto a rhythm, not always with...

It's that time a year again, and flu and cold season is kicking into high gear! My kids have already had two colds the past couple of months, but I’m bracing myself for this upcoming fall and winter.
